Context¶
SYSTEMS/npc-lifecycle.md declares TRADER NPCs full economic actors whose trades
are "treated identically to player transactions"; this ADR resolved the eleven
open numeric/mechanical questions (wallet, restock-by-delivery, tariffs/hostility,
docking slips, cross-region routes, warp-gate access, attribution, notoriety, and
runtime tunables) under the principle that the economy is driven by real product
moved by real actors, not invisible auto-supplement. The canon now lives in
FEATURES/economy/npc-traders.md.
