Context

The Region ↔ Nexus connection is a natural Frontier warp (a WarpTunnel of type = NATURAL, not a constructed ARTIFICIAL gate), placed in the Frontier outer reaches with a sparseness / 25th-percentile placement preference and latent by default. The placement rule, storage shape, discovery flow, and traversal-time subscription gate are canon in SYSTEMS/region-lifecycle.md (Phase 14 Nexus-warp placement).
