0022 — R1: Rank-progression Gate Model Canonicalized

Status

Folded into FEATURES/gameplay/ranking.md (2026-06-19). Made the 18-rank ladder gated by points + minimal-stat thresholds canonical, dropping the legacy credit / territory / role / Warp-Jumper / per-rank-perk gates; ranks are monotonic and never lost.

Context

Arbitrated the points + minimal-stat 18-rank gate model against the legacy credit-and-territory-heavy gate set. Sister decision to ADR-0023 (what the rank table feeds: turn-cap bonuses).

Folded into FEATURES/gameplay/ranking.md — the canonical 18-rank table and gate model now live there.
