ADR 0154 — PC raid UI blocked until GS holding_id discovery exists (LEG-DEC-955)

Status

Proposed

Context

Player Client work order LEG-4107 must wire raid initiate against tip-PRESENT Gameserver routes under invent=0. Verify-first on tip 547f138df shows the only tip-PRESENT pirate-holdings HTTP route is POST /pirate-holdings/{holding_id}/raid/initiate (pirate_holdings.py). There is no GET list, GET-by-id, or sector-scoped holdings route. GET /regions/{id}/pirate-ecosystem returns tier counts only (not holding ids). GET /nav/threat pirate_pressure is a region aggregate with no holding_id. FEATURES/galaxy/pirate-holdings.md marks Holding browse/intel design-only; SYSTEMS/pirate-holding-raid.md still lists GET list and GET /{id} as target API.

Without a tip-PRESENT way for PC to obtain holding_id for the player's current sector, Accept criteria requiring a discoverable pirate-holding surface cannot be met honestly. A free-text UUID field invents non-canon UX and fails discoverability. PC path_globs forbid inventing a GS discovery route.

Decision

The coordinator selected Mint sibling Gameserver WO for GET holdings-by-sector (or GET /pirate-holdings/{id} + sector listing) then resume LEG-4107. Mint a Gameserver discovery WO (sector-scoped holdings list + GET by id minimal) under initiative 351. LEG-4107 depends_on that WO and stays BLOCKED until DONE; then resume PC raid UI against tip-PRESENT discovery+initiate. Do not authorize PC-only provisional UUID/manual entry. Do not park/supersede LEG-4107 as the chosen path.

Consequences

  • Gameserver discovery must land before Player Client raid initiate UI can satisfy discoverability.
  • LEG-4107 remains BLOCKED with depends_on the sibling Gameserver WO until that WO is DONE.
  • Holding browse/intel remains design-only in FEATURES until a separate intel surface ships; this ruling only unblocks the minimal discovery needed for raid initiate.
  • Docs-only ADR materialization; live-prove n/a.
